Each beautifully crafted, 3 bedroom, double-storey residence is a new touchstone for liveability in this highly sought-after locale.
For Jordan Hill, Cumulus Studios responded to the topographic setting of West Hobart with a collection of subtly terraced townhouses featuring open and calm living spaces. Framed by a gently folding roof form, the interiors invite space for daily life in an efficient yet spacious home. A bright, crisp palette is accented by warm timbers, stunning joinery and elegant fixtures.
At the home’s heart is a lightwell between floors, welcoming both connection and fresh circulation simultaneously. Each townhouse provides 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, study space and double carport. Private and communal landscaping is designed by award-winning Arcadia Landscape Architects to deliver a smooth and beautiful transition from inside to outside living.
Modern appliances and robust yet refined textures finish a kitchen at which to marvel. Bathrooms are well balanced and considered for both family and luxury living alike. Jordan Hill’s interiors reveal a fusion of clean line minimalism and liveable sophistication, very much cohesive with the design features depicted externally. While discernibly modern, these spaces are homely and comforting. The result is homes that feel luxurious and well-appointed, setup to enrich each and every day.
Lower Jordan Hill Road is one of West Hobart's most sought after streets.
With resonances of Melbourne’s Fitzroy, or Sydney’s Surry Hills, West Hobart resolves community with urban living. Minutes from Hobart’s CBD and waterfront, West Hobart offers a wonderful blend of cultural city life with tranquil suburban privacy. Rolling terrain provides expansive views towards the river and its hills beyond.
Australia's southern-most capital city is fast becoming the destination for liveability and balance. Stunning landscapes gently fold into urban locales with first rate food and cultural options. It would be difficult to imagine a better property investment decision, world-wide, in the years and decades to come. Move over Sydney!

Earl Projects is an Australian, family-owned investment business with a focus on property, multi-residential and mixed-use development. Based in Melbourne the company has a keen interest in property in Hobart where managing director, Claire Earl, was born and raised. Claire and Geoff Earl began investing in property in London in 2009 and started Earl Projects in 2016 after relocating back to Melbourne. Inspired by Alain De Botton’s The Architecture of Happiness, Earl Projects’ mission is to create homes that are a joy to live in. Endeavours to achieve this begin with selecting only prime locations, highly connected to amenities but also offering abundant green space for residents.
Carta Group was established in 2008 by Paul and Chrissi Hayward, following the sale of their long-time and highly successful furniture distribution business in Australia and New Zealand. The goal was to specialise in projects around inner suburban Melbourne. Carta quickly made a mark on the industry with innovative projects like Centennial Apartments in Kensington, and Hull Apartments in Richmond. The decade following has seen, amongst multiple others, a Tasmanian heritage renovation challenge in Battery Point (with Earl Projects, 2018), and Newry Richmond (2018) an acclaimed project with Fieldwork - which redefined the innovative inner-city townhouse design market. More recently, Alexandra Apartments (OLA Studios) in Clifton Hill has been Carta’s primary focus, seeing a very successful delivery of 33 apartments in December 2021. Paul and Chrissi have recently been joined in Carta Group by their son Ryan, who has relocated to Hobart to manage this new project, to ensure a first-class result is again achieved.
